FAQ

WHAT DOES SNABBL MEAN?

Snabbl really doesn’t mean anything, it originally came from Snabb (which means quick in Swedish) and List (as we are creating listings) Snabb List over time became Snabbl.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LISTING AND A PROFILE?

A profile is your identity, it’s who you are as a person or as a company. You should only have one Profile.

A listing is what you offer, and from your profile, you can create multiple listings.

Much like any social media with a marketplace, your username and login would be your profile, but your listing might be something that you are selling.

Snabbl is built to list services and resources for the production industries, so Listings are what get searched. A solid profile inspires confidence.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LISTING AND WHO WHAT WHERE?

WHO WHAT WHERE is optional, but smart. You can enhance your profile by highlighting equipment, facilities, locations, and people you work with. The main function of WHO WHAT WHERE is that you can then add each person (WHO), item (WHAT) and location (WHERE) into multiple listings and at the same time showcase them.Simply put, whatever you add to WHO WHAT WHERE become ingredients of a Listing.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO LISTING ON SNABBL?

There are quite a few. The most obvious is connecting listers with clients and vice versa. It’s a platform to help you get gigs or what you need to produce them.

It’s also free, and for the those of you seeking something, it gives everyone the same platform to make it easy to compare, save and connect.

Cut down on costly search times, browse within one platform and most of all, find what you need - WHERE you need it

Finding resources in the form of services, equipment and locations near your planned production also cuts down significantly on travel and transportation costs.

Think of how expensive it would be to bring a photographer to your wedding on the Maldives from just about anywhere else in the world, as opposed to finding a qualified photographer nearby.

WHAT IS OWNER/OPERATED?

Owner operated is simply equipment that gets rented out together with the owner. For example, if a lister has a cool vintage car, ideal for a wedding couple to drive off with and for photo shoots, that lister may not feel safe renting out the car on its own and thus prefer to include their own presence as an operator (in this case, driver) in the listing.
